Dear Sweat Pants.
To borrow a line from a prominent Nigerian comedian
SOMETHING JUST HAPPENED AND I AM VERY ANGRY RIGHT NOW
you Mr sweat Pant have been around for a while, i never took you seriously nor did i for a second thought you would be against me nor my fellow sisters. Mr Sweat Pants (especially the grey colored one) you have terrorized me for far too long, i have been nothing but nice to you, you are properly cared for, nurtured and well taken care of, sometimes you get to got to the laundry for some TLC and when you get back you are kept in a cool relaxing environment. i mean what else could a sweat pant want?
I ensure you don't get stuffy, nor do i take it lightly when any form of stain attacks you in any circumstance. i immediately get you washed, ironed and safely tucked in.
So imagine my surprise when you get in between an argument that does not concern you. the person i am conversing(fighting, angry with, pissed off with, who deserves my uttermost anger but every other time you get in the way. clouding my judgment, weakening my resolve, making me melt like butter under the sun, seriously WHY? WHY? WHY?
I love you Sweat Pants i do, but that time will come when i will send you to the shredding machine, you can quote me on that.
Your's faithfully
Sweat Pants Victim

conversation on the go.
I had the most interesting conversation today with a good friend.
it was one of those discussions that one topic leads to another and another and well time passes by.
one of the chain of topics that caught my attention and stayed till way after the conversation was our disagreement on the scripture of 1st Corinthians 7:4.
I was of the opinion that despite the fact it is stated in the bible that my body(as a wife) belongs to my husband does not mean i lose myself in the process. The man(husband) might have some preference regarding many things which involves my body does not mean i don't have a say in it.
for example my dear friend mentioned that if a wife does not please her husband in (for this discussion lets use cloths) cloths he shows interest in she puts her marriage in a compromising position, giving the devil armor if you will to attack her home, leading the man to seek other interest outside the home.(hmmmmmm) personally i feel a man who cheats will always cheat no matter how obedient and submissive you are to him as a wife.
I understand with my friend to a certain degree but i stand by what i said earlier, a woman should not loose herself in the journey to please her man. she should not change how she looks (except she is not happy with it) she should have a mind of her own, have goals and desires, she should not be ashamed of who she is and having an opinion is not a sin.
Dear men please woman are humans too, we think and feel like you, we have dreams and aspirations just like you, don't deem your wife's light simply because you feel it is your right. Love her, love her body as well as her mind, dreams, goals and help her flourish.
so here is my question
Corinthians 7: 4
does it refer only to the body(sexually) or every aspect of the person's life.
Let me know
